it's been a long, long time since i've posted anything here. i still troll about reading fic for new fandoms and stuff, but i'm not terribly active beyond the occasional comment. school has been great. keeping me super crazy busy and making me super crazy too. i have been lax on updating my personal website, but i've been pretty good with facebook so you can check out newer stuff HERE. yes, so i am posting today because i am starting a new project and would love for you all to be able to contribute. hope to hear from each of you and that you are all doing well. here are the details:
I have officially decided to do some feminist art. I know it's 'different' for me and I assure you that you are not getting 'punk'd'. Women, however, are getting 'punk'd' and it becomes increasingly more evident with the level of disrespect, once again, being so blatantly shoved into our faces and trying to be forced between our legs as each day passes. It has me so angry and so impotently ashamed. I want to do something about it. So I'm going to make some gotdamn art to break down the heavy weight of disgust inside of me. I have one thing that I am working on now, but I would also like to do a text piece. Please send me your favourite quotes by women and EVEN BETTER send me a quote by YOU about being a woman or loving (in the broadest sense) a woman. No word limit. I would love, love, love to hear from every woman and everyone who was born by a woman (wink). Take your time and be thoughtful or just blast out a response right now. I just want to hear your voices. Please feel free to forward to friends. Thank you in advance for taking the time to respond and as always, once I have completed the project, I will send out links to images for those who have participated.

'cause i did. a couple of times. thank you j.k. rowling for the all the magical memories. the end is over.

- Music:Harry Potter Theme
i didn't think i could love new york more, but, now i could fucking marry her <3 yay! for the empire state.
If I watch the finale whatever happens between them is with me for posterity and will never be unwritten. If I don't watch I'll never 'know' but what I can imagine.
harketh! i'm going to label this a spoiler so if you haven't heard any news about lisa edelstein, surf your flist before reading this. elsewise, you know what's under the cut... ( say it ain't so plucky! say it ain't so. )
i don't know if my standards are lower given all the pavlov-ing they've been putting me through, but that was a surprisingly decent episode. i mean i actually enjoyed it. i think? i mean, the writing was good, right? for sure there was the usual what-the-fuckery (e.g., the final scene) but meh, they've proven an affinity for needing me to suspend disbelief. the promo for next week, however, looked like a pile of steaming shit. i'll watch it though. shrugs.
whee! if you're behind on your glee viewing (as i was) be warned, spoilers ahead... ( i've been afraid of changing... )
seriously, it's the only reason i have to smile this week. gorgeous. major shoppers here!
house episode 'bombshells' and next week's promo. one word: fuck.
